Hyderabad: A leading player in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry, AG&P Pratham has launched its first CNG station in Guntakal city at HPCL filling station, which also marks the fourth CNG station in Anantapur district.

With this launch, the major highways are now CNG station enabled in the country.

This CNG station will help the residents reduce dependence on traditional fuels and move towards sustainable living with savings of 30 per cent -50 per cent.

In an endeavor to popularise CNG, the distributor organised a 'Mega CNG Exchange Mela' which focused on giving affordable exchange options for petrol, diesel and LPG run autos with CNG autos in the district. The exchange mela holds special interest for the auto drivers as converting to CNG can benefit them up to Rs10,000 every month.

The firm also offered direct benefits worth Rs 15,000 to the auto drivers during the mela.
